Hotel Information: Catering to an international clientele (possibility of topless sunbathing) of couples and families, the Barceló Bávaro Resort comprises five All-Inclusive hotels, a casino, a golf course, and a large convention center linked by complimentary motorized shuttle "trains" running from 8 AM to 4 AM (schedule subject to change).

Guests of this hotel may eat at all All-Inclusive plan restaurants in four of the hotels. (Two fine-dining restaurants are not covered by the All-Inclusive plan.) However, guests must pay for their meals at the Barceló Bávaro Palace Hotel's restaurants and La Fuente restaurant. Guests of all hotels may drink at all bars and discos within the resort.

Barceló Bávaro Palace Hotel is a beachfront hotel adjacent to the convention center at the resort's northern end, away from the other hotels. It offers 558 guestrooms.
Amenity highlights: A lagoon-style pool encircling a sunbathing island measures approximately 68.5m by 68.5m (225 ft by 225 ft). The resort is located along a 3-km (2-mi) stretch of light-sand beach washed by the clear Atlantic Ocean. The hotel supplies kayaks, pedal boats, snorkeling gear, and small sailboats. Windsurfers and speed boats may be rented. Parasailing, banana-boating, tubing, fishing, glass-bottom boat trips, and scuba-diving are available for surcharges.
